What is Coaching?

If we consider the different dimensions of wellness, we realise it isn’t just about our physical and mental health, but expands to all areas of our lives including our job, our relationships and the environment we’re living in. And when we’re not fulfilled in these areas it affects our overall wellbeing. We may realise we need to change one of these areas in our lives but lack the motivation or confidence to do so. That’s where coaching comes in. Coaching can help with virtually any aspect of your life, whether it’s personal or professional. Coaching has grown to be a hugely successful form of talking therapy, and has helped turn many people’s lives around. 

Why I love Coaching

Coaches can offer guidance in confidence, career change, self-worth, relationships, finding your purpose – just to name a few, and are professionally trained to help you maximise your full potential and reach your desired goals. Many of us know what to do, but don’t take the actions needed to follow through on our goals. A lot of the time this comes down to our limiting beliefs – ‘I’m not smart enough, I’m not strong enough, I’m not brave enough.’ Coaching will push you to identify your goals, hold you accountable and provide you with encouragement throughout your journey. Sometimes we need that new perspective and someone to give us a little nudge every so often (I know I did!).
